Design Committee

The Design Committee is made up of architects, landscaped designers, builders, historic preservationists, planners, interior designers, civil engineers, gardeners, property owners and Main Street neighborhood residents, as appointed by the Muskegon Main Street Board of Directors. The Design committee consists of at least 7 members, a quorum of 4 which must be present at meetings where façade improvement grant applications are reviewed.

Muskegon Main Street actively attempts to connect property owners to facade grants that improve the look of the Main Street District. Design Services
Michigan Main Street communities in the first, second and third year of the program receive design training and consultation services. Each Main Street community will receive three individualized design service packages as part of the Michigan Main Street design services.
