Downtown Muskegon Clippies

Muskegon Main Street and the Muskegon Film Festival are pleased to introduce the Downtown Muskegon Clippies!

Goal:
It is becoming easier and easier to create video content that is virally affecting the image of everything you can think of, including downtown Muskegon. Muskegon Main Street and the Muskegon Film Fest hope to harness that creativity to encourage people to create video content to show off the new Downtown Muskegon.

Eligibility:
Both amateur and professional videos are encouraged to enter. Videos must not contain violent, offensive, or obscene material. Muskegon Main Street and the Muskegon Film Fest retain the right to judge any submission ineligible.

Entry:
-Videos must promote, explore or depict some aspect of Downtown Muskegon and must be between 60 and 180 seconds.
-Videos must be submitted in DVD format, or on a data CD in AVI, WMV, or MPEG format, along with a completed entry form (see below)) by June 5, 2008 to
     Muskegon Main Street
     900 Third St
     Muskegon, MI 49440
     Attn: Downtown Clippies

Use of Videos:
By entering the Contest, entrants warrant that they own all intellectual property rights that relate to their entry and agree to assign all intellectual property rights to Muskegon Main Street & the Muskegon Film Festival to use the videos in any media, including the Internet, for any purpose they see fit. Entrants who do not agree to this use should not enter this Contest.

Judging:
Videos deemed eligible will be posted to YouTube by June 6 to YouTube Contest Site
Between June 6 and June 21 the video that achieves the highest ranking will be declared the winner at the Taste of Muskegon on June 22, along with Taste of Muskegon winners.

Prizes:
Winner to receive a downtown gift package worth $300+, promotion on Muskegon Film Festival, downtownmuskegon.org, and YouTube websites.
