Muskegon Community Paddle – Snug Harbor Edition

Saturday, August 15 from 8:00am – 11:30am, you’re invited to Snug Harbor at Muskegon State Park for a Muskegon Community Paddle – Snug Harbor Edition!  This is a paddle party along the northwest end of the Muskegon lake shoreline that’s open to anyone with a paddle craft, kayak, paddle board, canoe, or rowboat.  Meet at the Muskegon State Park Snug Harbor picnic area at 8:00am, then paddle along the north shoreline east toward Bear Lake, or south toward the channel out to Lake Michigan, depending on the wind, from 8:30am – 9:30am.  Then, you’ll head back to the starting point.  You will need a state park pass unless you have a “P” on your license plate.  This paddle is part of the Michigan Maritime Celebration taking place this weekend.  There will be a reverse drawing before this float for prizes.  You must be present at the drawing to win a prize.  The drawing will start around 8:30am.  Prizes will be kayak accessories, dive watches and other items.
