Workshop: Overcoming Immunity to Change
January 18 @ 8:00 am - February 15 @ 11:30 am
Friday, February 15 from 8:30am – 11:00am, come to the Muskegon Innovation Hub for the workshop, “Overcoming Immunity to Change.” Change takes time, especially changing our behaviors. Often we have the best intentions: we attend the right class; we read the right book; we think about how to apply; we even probably put forth a lot of effort to consciously apply in our work. Maybe it was wanting to:
Be a better delegator
Prioritize physical activity
Be a better coach for my employees
Yet, despite our best intentions, we just can’t seem to make that ‘change’ stick. We feel like we are spinning our wheels and just a ‘hamster on a wheel.’ What can be done? There is a solution; we just need to approach from a different way! We often think an obstacle or problem just requires more knowledge, discipline, and action. For technical problems – those that already have defined solutions – that is exactly what is needed! Most of us are actually facing adaptive problems – it requires a different way of thinking in order to solve. This workshop supports you in exploring your adaptive problem to make meaningful and lasting personal change!
