Thursday, October 11 from 5:30pm – 7:00pm, it’s the “Muskegon Legends and Lore Walking Tour!”  Join the Lakeshore Museum Center for a walking tour that will feature Muskegon lore, legends, and scandals! Hackley and Hume Site: Obituary Tour

October 26, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - October 27, 2018 @ 9:30 pm

October 26 and 27 from 7:00-8:00pm and again from 8:30-9:30pm , special evening tours of the homes of Muskegon’s most well-known lumber barons will include information from the obituaries and funerals of some of the family members who died in the houses.  Autopsies conducted during the early 1900’s will also be addressed.  Admission is $15 for Museum members and $20 for non-members.  You must RSVP to participate.  For more information or to register, call 231-722-7578.

Historic Sites Open for the 2019 Season

The Hackley and Hume Historic Site will open for its 2019 season Thursday, May 2!  During the touring season, tickets are sold in the City Barn (Carriage House) at the Hackley and Hume Historic Site.  With a purchased ticket, visitors will enjoy a classic Hackley and Hume tour at the site, which usually takes about an hour. Hackley Day Celebration
