Friday, July 10 at 7:30pm, come to the Frauenthal Theater as the West Michigan Symphony presents “Four Seasons, Two Hemispheres!” Vivaldi’s Four Seasons have inspired generations of concertgoers and more than a few composers. Three centuries later, the master of Argentinean tango, Astor Piazzolla, used them as the inspiration for his own Four Seasons of Buenos Aires. And in turn, the great living Argentinean composer Osvaldo Golijov created his own loving tribute to Piazzolla, Last Round.
