Online: 33rd Annual Lost Boat Ceremony

Some things never change. The mission of the USS Silversides Submarine Museum remains to honor the men and women of the military, preserve military history and provide experiences that educate the public about past and present military history and technology. For over 30 years we have highlighted that mission through the Lost Boat Ceremony on the Sunday before Memorial Day. That will not change this year. What does have to change, though, is the way we present it. This year, we will be offering it only as an online virtual event. We will miss having all of you here with us, but you will still see and enjoy all aspects of the ceremony, just from the comfort of your home as we all do our part to stay safe and healthy while we honor our brave American heroes.
The 2020 Lost Boat Ceremony Virtual Ceremony will premier at 11:00 am on Sunday, May 24, 2020 on both our website (www.silversidesmuseum.org) and on our Facebook page .
