Each June, the Promo Tour ushers in a summer of cruising and car shows, and offers an opportunity for adventure and camaraderie to hundreds of classic car owners. The five-day tour has a dual purpose: (1) to promote Back to the Bricks®, and generate excitement for the August “Main Event” in downtown Flint, and (2) to showcase the unique features and boost the economy of each of the host cities selected for the Tour.
Thanks to the efforts of Rhonda Rau and her committee, the 2020 VISIONARY PROMO TOUR promises to be another record-breaking phenomenal experience as they visit several cities around the state of Michigan. The fun begins on Friday, June 5, 2020 with a kick-off breakfast buffet at St. John’s Parish Hall in Davison.
The itinerary includes an overnight stay on June 5th in Mt. Pleasant, and two nights (June 6th and 7th) in Boyne City and the surrounding area with a car show at Classic Instruments on Saturday, and the Main Event Downtown on Sunday. From Boyne City, the Tour will travel to Cadillac on June 8th and Muskegon on June 9th. Long-hauler awards for participants who visit every city will be passed out on Tuesday in Muskegon at the official conclusion of this year’s Tour. Those who are interested can take advantage of an optional coffee and donut stop in St. Johns, Michigan on the way home.
The $45.00 Registration Fee entitles you to: 2 T-shirts, 2 Name Lanyards, a Participant Window Cling, Participant Window Card, Goodie Bag, Tour Book, Free Breakfast on the day of departure, and several other discounts and perks.
Online Registration will open on Friday, February 7, 2020 immediately following the Media Event at 10:00am in the Lobby of the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center. Registration closes at Midnight, May 1, 2020. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Tour packets can be picked up at the BttB® office, 4400 S. Saginaw St. in Flint on Tuesday, May 26 from 9:00am – 2:00pm, Tuesday, June 2 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm, or at St. John’s Catholic Church in Davison from 7:30pm – 9:00am on Friday, June 5 prior to departure.
