City of the Dead Muskegon: Virtual Tour

City of the Dead is a historical tour of Muskegon’s oldest city-owned cemetery. The tour, in it’s twelfth year, guides visitors on a walking tour through towering monuments and trees; while introducing guests to some of Evergreen Cemetery’s residents. A full cast interprets Muskegon’s former members through historical documentation, time-period clothing, context, and language as we interpret this Victorian garden cemetery.
In 2021, due to public health concerns, a virtual tour will be shared using social media; providing a truly “all access” tour. The event is free with a donate button for free will offering.
