Always wanted to try your “hand” at quilting? Join Interim Executive Director and avid quilter, Melissa Horton, for this virtual hand quilting workshop! Participants will receive the supplies and instruction needed to create their own square to use as a quilted potholder or doily. This workshop will go over the process of hand quilting from start to finish. Participants will learn how to use a template, trace patterns, cut fabric, piece together blocks, quilt, and bind the final product. Everything will be done by hand and no machine is required.
Tickets are $20, or $18 for museum members. Registration is available on Eventbrite – link coming soon! Once registered, the supplies will be available for pick up at the museum starting March 15th and a Zoom link will be emailed a week before the program.
