Lecture: Holocaust Survivor, Irene Miller – POSTPONED

March 30, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Monday, March 30 at 6:00pm, Irene Miller, a Holocaust survivor, author, speaker, and educator will take you on a survival journey little written and known about. During this event’s journey at MCC Sturrus Technology Center, you will sleep in the winter under an open sky on the no man’s land; you will freeze in a Siberian labor camp where the bears come to your door front. In Uzbekistan, you will live on boiled grass or broiled onions, and shiver with malaria. You will spend years in orphanages. Even with this tremendously trying background, Irene grew up to become a positive, creative, and accomplished woman with a joy of living and love to share. It is a story of courage, determination, perseverance and the power of the human spirit. Don’t miss this compelling event with Irene Miller. All ages are welcome at this free event!  For more information call (231) 722-8000.

Due to high interest in this event, originally planned at Hackley Library, it has been moved to the MCC Sturrus Technology Center in downtown Muskegon.Come in the main door across from Hackley Park.
