Mercy Health Seaway 2020 Virtual Race Week

Due to COVID19, the Mercy Funds raised by the Seaway Run contribute to health and wellness initiatives led by the Muskegon YMCA and the Muskegon Rotary Club. If you’re not familiar with the incredible community impact made by these two organizations, I encourage you to visit their websites for more information.
As many of you may have heard, due to COVID-19, this year’s Mercy Health Seaway Run will not be proceeding as usual. But, it’s not canceled! Instead of an in-person race day, we’re hosting a virtual race week. During race week (June 27th through July 4th), put on your race shirt and your bib and head outside (a safe distance from others) or to your treadmill and run the distance you signed up for. Afterwards, snap a photo and post your results. You can use Facebook and/or Instagram using the hashtag #seawayrun2020.
A few things to note:
- The race you choose determines the swag bag you receive. Each run and walk signup will include a Mercy Health Seaway Run shirt and bib and a complimentary Pigeon Hill beer ticket (for runners 21 and over).
- Packet pick-up will be made available prior to the race but will be carried out in a social-distance drive-through format (location TBD). If you are unable to pick up your packet, your race gear will be shipped to the address you provided during sign-up. If you signed up prior to the race going virtual, please log into http://runsignup.com/ and update your shipping information. We’ll provide additional details closer to the race.
