Muskegon Lumberjacks Statement on COVID-19
March 12, 2020
Today, the USHL Board of Directors voted unanimously to suspend game play until further notice. Additionally, all hockey activities, including practices, workouts and meetings have been suspended.
These decisions were made in the best interest of our players, staff and fan base.
As such, games scheduled for this week, March 13, March 14, and March 17 have been postponed. We will be revising our exchange policy to provide maximum flexibility for our fans to exchange their tickets to future games this season and next. For now, we ask that our fans hold tight as more information becomes available over the coming days and weeks.
President of the Lumberjacks, Mike McCall, had this to say:
“We’re committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure the safety of our fans, players and staff. Right now, cancelling this weekend’s games is the recommendation until we gather more information!”
In addition to the suspension of hockey activities, the Mercy Health Arena Box Office will be closed until further notice. Fans with questions may contact the Lumberjacks at (231) 799-7000 or by e-mail at [email protected].
We appreciate your understanding during this time.
