What is Holidays in the City?
Holidays in the City is a collaboration between the Downtown Development Authority, the City of Muskegon, the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce, and downtown businesses and organizations to bring you the very best of our downtown during the holiday season. Every weekend from Thanksgiving through Christmas, there are fun and exciting holiday events taking place! Explore below all the great things downtown Muskegon has to offer this holiday season!
The Kick-Off
Holidays in the City kicks off on November 26 with Small Business Saturday and the community Christmas tree lighting in Hackley Park.

After the tree lighting, make your way to Western Ave between 1st and 5th street to watch the city light up for the holidays!

Holiday Tours Kickoff

Join the Lakeshore Museum Center for Holiday Tours, a craft for kids, and Christmas trees & wreaths for sale!
